Mr. Young has more than 35 years of experience in aviation strategic planning, facility planning, and environmental analyses. He has assisted large hub airports across the U.S. and overseas in preparing strategic development plans to provide enhanced capacity and capability.
His experience includes airport master plans, vision plans, on-call planning assignments, site selection studies, environmental assessments and impact statements, and aviation program management. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of airport planning, including airfield, passenger terminal, and landside concept creation as well as alternatives analysis.
Mr. Young also has experience in airport facility design and construction management. His program management experience includes two tours at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and he has the unique experience of having planned, designed, constructed, and commissioned an entire new airport.
