
Penny Parrella is an Associate Principal supporting the PG Executive Program Management team. Before joining PG, she worked for the City of Peoria, Ariz., where she had served as a City Council assistant since May 2020.
She previously served as Chief of Staff for the City of Phoenix and as Executive Assistant to the Phoenix City Council for more than 14 years. Prior to that position, she served as a management assistant in Phoenix Planning Department.
As Chief of Staff, Parrella directed operations for the Phoenix City Council, including managing $4 million in budgets for eight council districts and managing policy, personnel and logistical requests for the city manager, deputy city managers and council members for the fifth largest city in the U.S.
Parrella earned her undergraduate degree in political science and a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University.
