NASHVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Project Overview

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority retained Paslay Management Group, now Paslay Group, in August 2016 to ensure successful delivery of the $1.5 billion BNA Vision capital improvement program, a terminal modernization and expansion plan intended to support Nashville International Airport’s escalating passenger demand.

The comprehensive program included:

• An 800,000-square-foot Grand Lobby with expanded ticketing, baggage check and security checkpoint
• A 7,000-space terminal parking garage complex
• A new BNA Marketplace with Nashville branded restaurants and bars
• 40 new gates
• A state-of-the-art International Arrivals Facility
• An eight-gate Satellite Concourse
• The airport’s first on-site hotel

Nashville International Airport’s Grand Lobby opened in January 2023. The BNA Marketplace just beyond the security checkpoint and International Arrivals Facility opened in September 2023. The Satellite Concourse opened in October 2023. And the 300-room Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal, a public-private partnership, opened in February 2024 adjacent to the terminal and parking complex. The hotel boasts a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar, and plentiful meeting space.

The project’s success depended on extraordinary collaboration among all MNAA contractors and all those employed by and at BNA. The result is a beautiful, efficient airport for Middle Tennessee with a world class passenger experience worthy of one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States.
