Hillsborough County Aviation Authority expanding concession offerings with Airside D Terminal
TAMPA, Fla., June 26, 2023 – PG Advisory is pleased to announce a five-year engagement with the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority to provide concessions consulting services and on-call support for the Airside D program at Tampa International Airport.
Airside D will be TPA’s fifth airside terminal and the first new one in more than 17 years. It will include 16 gates supporting both domestic and international flights and enable the airport to serve an additional 13 million passengers by 2037, according to HCAA plans. Construction is expected to begin in 2024 and will take three years to complete.
The terminal’s concession offerings are initially envisioned to span 25,000 square feet and be centrally located by the terminal security checkpoint. Concepts will include a mix of restaurants and food-and-beverage outlets, retail shops, and other amenities.
