Robert Seewald has more than 40 years of experience in construction and engineering, with an emphasis on building systems. His duties have included managing contractors and working with owners/operators to successfully complete projects ranging from $10M to $21B. Projects ranged from Nuclear Power Plants, Micro Processor Plants and for the past 20 years, international terminals, across North America.
Robert’s experience with airport facilities has focused on systems commissioning management and working closely with the Owner and their Stakeholders to ensure Operational Readiness, Activation and Transfer (ORAT) from construction to full operation. This includes ensuring all processes and procedures are developed and approved, training programs in place, and training validated prior to opening to ensure a smooth transition to full operation. These airports include SFO, YYZ, MIA, RDU, ATL, LAX, IAH, and MCI.
