
Michael Slade is an accomplished engineering executive with more than 35 years of progressive technical and leadership experience who joined Paslay Group in 2024. He serves as Executive Program Manager for the firm’s engagement at John Wayne Airport, Orange County, Calif. He previously served as a captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as a Senior Engineer for a major commercial port, and as a business development executive in three ENR Top 50 engineering firms.
Mr. Slade’s expertise includes capital program development and innovative strategies for infrastructure management with previous leadership roles for Chicago O’Hare, George Bush Intercontinental, LaGuardia, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia international airports. He also served as a Project Director for terminal development and expansion programs at Abha and King Khaled international airports in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Slade earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio, and a Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus. He also graduated from Officer Candidate School in Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning), Ga., and the Army War College in Carlisle, Penn. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
