
Donald “Don” Chinery is a highly skilled Program Logistics Manager with 25 years of experience in Coordination and Logistics Management, including 15 years consulting for public aviation agencies such as Los Angeles World Airports and Ontario International Airport Authority. He is also a recognized expert and published author in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Don led the CALM team at Ontario International Airport (ONT) for two years and served as deputy oversight for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) CALM team for 13 years. At LAX, he managed all project-related data within the LAX Planning and Development Group to minimize construction-related impacts for both tenants and passengers while preventing construction conflicts and expensive redesigns in complex airport environments. His expertise spans GIS, Program Controls, Logistics Management, and managing Utility and Area shutdown processes and procedures for Airport Capital Programs. He currently supports John Wayne Airport as a CALM Subject Matter Expert for the Planning and Development team.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Geography and Economics from Northwestern University and received a certification in Airport Systems Planning & Design at the University of California, Berkeley.
