Mr. Salela is an executive with over 30 years of experience leading teams in physical and operational aviation and transportation environments who joined Paslay Group in 2024 as an Executive Program Manager. His portfolio includes more than 90 airport and airline development programs with 24/7 operational constraints and multiple adjacency project conditions. He has served in leadership roles for development programs at Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Denver (DEN), Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta (ATL), Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and Hamad (DOH) international airports.
He excels at detailed logistics and fully understands ever-changing aviation environments where design and construction occur. He has deployed multiple procurement types and complex phasing under tight schedules while continually monitoring costs.
Mr. Salela earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and Architectural Studies from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He contributed to the 9th and 10th editions of Architectural Graphic Standards and has been a graphic illustrator for over 200 illustrations.
