Confronted with a transition in Airport leadership, the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission needed assistance in maintaining the continuity of airport business and guidance in completing a search for a new Airport Director including retaining a professional search firm to execute the recruitment.
SOLUTION
Paslay Group Advisory Services was retained by this Airport Commission in Virginia for business advice during the period of transition in airport directors. This support included guidance on the selection and management of an executive search firm for a new airport director, business strategy for a new Fixed Based Operator procurement, and a review of the Airport’s air service development program strategies.
RESULTS
With the successful appointment of a new airport director, the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission renewed PG’s Advisory Services to include on-call strategy support to the new airport director. Advisory Services is providing ongoing support to the new director in a variety of areas including guidance on updating the airport master plan.
